My extra meds are starting to make me really tired (that’s what they’re meant to do, by the way) so I took a day off from the garden yesterday.  I did process the disappointing onion harvest:

Onions are easy to preserve.  Top and tail them, peel them and then chop (food processor makes life easy) and pop them into a freezer bag.  Once frozen you can take what you need for cooking and just re-seal the bag.  If you’re working with fresh onions do make sure you have a hankie!
